The Loza Family Fighting Cancer

Hi my name is Eloisa Avino and I am raising funds for the Loza Family: David and Melisa Loza and their two beautiful daughters, Sofia (10) and Emma (7). They are truly some of the most caring and kindest people I have had the privilege of knowing and being friends with. They are warm, welcoming and always helpful to anyone they interact with. The Loza Family have been Bogota (NJ) residents since 2011 and are good neighbors and like to participate in the community. David worked as a Software Analyst and is a devoted father and husband. He has been the financial foundation for his family. Melisa has been working for the Bogota preschools for the last three years and is a beloved assistant teacher. Unfortunately this wonderful family is weathering a very difficult time. This summer David was diagnosed with Spindle Cell Sarcoma, an invasive cancer that is now at stage 4. David underwent major surgery in July to remove tumors but in October the family received the devastating news that more tumors had surfaced. David has started chemo but has had many serious complications and has been hospitalized since October 24th. This family needs help! Currently neither David or Melisa are able to work and have medical and other bills that continue to arrive. They are doing their best to put on a brave face for their girls.
