On Dec 31st Jason Holland was involved in a major accident while working on a customers home. While working on the roof he fell over 20ft and hit the concrete below. He was rush to the hospital and straight into emergency surgery. He has a number of major injuries with the main concern being major head trauma which has already required 2 surgeries, a lot of bleeding, and possible paralysis. Over the last 5 days Jason has amazed the doctors and is showing signs of improvement but due to the swelling of his brain he is being kept in a medically paralyzed coma to force his body to completely relax and start the healing process. At this time the specialist are unable to provide any type of time frame or evaluate the extent of any long term recovery Jason will be facing.
As many as you are aware Jason is the rock not only for his wife Donna and his boys but for so many friends and family members. Sadly Donna's father passed just 2 months ago and they are still dealing with the lose and care of her family. Also, as a small business owner of Texas Landworks, this accident has halted all work. As the primary income provider for his family, the financial impact will be unimaginable.
We've set-up and MealTrain account to help with meals for Donna and the boys as she's been spending 12-14 hours a day at the hospital. As well as a facebook group "Love and Support for the Hollands " to keep everyone updated and the ability to share prayers and support. But right now the family needs immediate support for incoming household bills (housing, lights, water), daily living (groceries, gas, parking) and of course the extensive cost of medical bills. Any amount is appreciated as well as your thoughts and prayers.
