Love for Lovinity
Donation protected
Eight-year-old Lovinity Smith loves rainbows, arts and crafts, reading, doing hair, and all things princess. Her Mom, Tanisha, credits her with being a fighter; A kid who has handled life's struggles with strength, bravery and the most infectious smile. Lovinity is now in the fight of her life. Lovinity was recently diagnosed with cancer, a high-grade glioma which is a tumor in her brain tissue. This diagnosis has come quickly and with many complications already. It is still unsure what the long-term treatment plan will be, but she is waiting for the surgery to place her port so radiation can begin.
Lovinity and her family are so grateful for the outpouring of support they've received thus far but let us show them how big their community really can be! We are hoping this fundraiser can help relieve any bit of stress relating to the monetary burden cancer may carry. Your donations will allow the family to focus on Lovinity, her care, and taking care of each other (ex: gas, lodging, food, parking, unexpected costs, parent's unpaid leave, etc.).
This GoFundMe is being organized by Katie Wendt and other staff from Charley Brown Children's Center where Tanisha is loved as a friend, co-worker, and teacher. To know Tanisha is to love her and our Preschool community wanted a way to help out so here we are. We will update everyone through this page and we thank you in advance for however you are able to contribute.
