We are creating this GoFundMe for our best friends, Alisha and Joe Hailey, and their family after a tragic car accident on December 9th, in which their son Owen sadly passed. Alisha is expected to make a full physical recovery, and she is surrounded by Joe and their children, Liam, Jada, and Lincoln, as they face this unimaginable heartbreak and begin to navigate the days ahead.

Owen was truly the life of the party. Even at just eight years old, he had a way of lighting up every room, making everyone laugh, and bringing so much joy to the people around him. He was deeply loved by his hockey family, school community, neighbors, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His energy, kindness, and big personality will be deeply missed.

The Hailey family now faces not only overwhelming grief but also the unexpected financial burdens that come with such a tragedy. This fund will help support them with funeral expenses, time away from work, meals, and any other necessary items to provide them with space to grieve and care for one another.
