Louie's top surgery fundraiser

Hi I'm Louie! I'm going down the private top surgery route and I need help. The cost is £9200, plus the £200 consultation fee.

During my consultation, I was told that the price of my surgery was increased from the estimate of £8884 to £9200. Additionally, I have to pay £180 for an appointment with a gender specialist with psychiatric training to confirm that I'm eligible for gender affirming surgery. Unfortunately I'll need to move the fundraiser goal up.

The NHS waiting list is so long that I've not been seen (even for hormones) since my referral two years ago.

I'm from a lovely little seaside town in the north east (in the picture!) and I go to university in Sheffield. I'm hoping to get my surgery in the West Midlands before my postgraduate degree begins.

Eventually I want to go into teaching and I want to be able to work long teachers hours without needing to wear a binder!!
