Giving In Memory of Lolita Cataluna
What is this page?
In light of current COVID circumstances, expressing sympathy through gifts, cards and one's presence has become increasingly difficult. This gofundme page has been set up as a way to streamline financial gift giving in loving memory of Lolita Cataluña. Please note that it is not requesting donations but rather offering an alternative way to offer gifts and sympathies. Please also disregard the goal amount.
Who was Lolita?
It is with deep sorrow that and much love that we mourn the passing of Lolita Giducos Cataluña on Tuesday, May 11 2021. Lolita lived to the age of 84 and exuded strength, happiness and cheerfulness wherever she went. A charming, loving, dedicated & kind-hearted retired public school teacher, Lolita G. Cataluña’s life journey didn’t come to an end without her own noble story to tell. Lolita joined our creator on May 11, 2021 at the age of 84 after a fearless & valiant battle with serious & critical illness, surrounded and survived by loved ones who will continue to cherish her legacy.
Lolita completed her Bachelor’s degree at the University of the Visayas, Philippines. After sharing her teaching skills for more than 30 years, she retired & migrated to Canada where she spent her golden years of happiness with her siblings. Lolita’s pride was in her school and students, and she exhibited her passion for learning with thousands of children over the years. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Lolita. She's so jolly & loved to chat with her children, great grand children, relatives & friends, giving advice & sharing great lessons in life. During her prime time, Lolita often explored the elegance of nature's stream and found enchantment & beauty in the spring wildflowers. She had an uncanny ways to find joy in her daily activities. Her pleasant personality was contagious to everyone she met.
Her late husband, Constancio Cordova Cataluña, and her firstborn, Felino Cataluña, have gone ahead of her. Lolita is survived by her children; Bernadette, Ronnie, Freddie, Rex, Rey, Jillian, Richel, Mark; brothers & sisters, and many grand children, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
