While most people were ringing in the New Year, James and Myra Lockard of Mountain Home, Arkansas, lost everything they own when their home of 40 years burned down.
Eleven family members were gathered in the home to celebrate the holidays, a birthday, and a wedding. Thankfully everyone made it out safely, with minor smoke inhalation.
Their grandson Aidan also resided there, and EVERYTHING is gone. They had only the clothes on their backs. They are currently staying at a hotel while they sort out the details and challenges that come with such a disaster.
What is immediately needed is money to purchase winter clothing, prescriptions, phones, gas, and food, all the essentials we take for granted. Until they find a new residence, they have nowhere to store any donations of clothing or household items. You can easily donate through the Paypal link.
