Liv’s corrective jaw surgery fund

My daughter Liv requires this corrective jaw surgery to fix her mandibular prognathism (underbite). The position of her jaw currently affects her ability to bite and chew food and if not fixed will adversely affect her breathing. 

Diagnosed and monitored since she was eight years old, we have explored many options and the best outcome is a mix of orthodontics and maxillofacial and oral surgery. 

We waited until Liv stopped growing (age 16) to fit her braces and now at the end of the year she is finally due to have this life changing surgery.  

Unfortunately last year I was diagnosed with breast cancer, and although my treatment has been successful (yeeeharrrr) it has taken its toll on my finances. As a single mum and sole provider, I have been able to cover the cost of orthodontics, but the out of pocket expenses for the surgery are $22000 which I don’t have. 

I want to see my baby girl bite and chew not have to rip up food and eat in small chunks with her back teeth. I want to know she’ll breath properly in her old age.
