Medical Expenses for the Wagner family.

Ryker John Wagner was born April 8, 2022. Shortly after he was born, baby Ryker struggled to eat or gain weight. After many weeks of countless doctor appointments at Texas Childrens and many sleepless nights, Justin and Jenna were faced with the devasting news that baby Ryker has been diagnosed with Alagille Syndrome. Alagille Syndrome is a genetic condition that affects mainly the liver in which the individual is born with fewer than the normal number of small bile ducts required for normal liver function. Due to this condition, a child born with Alagille Syndrome is not able to eat normally without causing damage to their other organs. In worse case scenarios, this condition can lead to liver failure.

Ryker is currently admitted into Texas Childrens Hospital Downtown. He requires constant monitoring and attention as he is connected to a feeding tube with the hopes that is able to gain some weight and very much needed nutrition. Baby Ryker has a very long tough road ahead of him but hes proving to be a strong little fighter.

When he is released from the hospital, he will need around the clock care, tube feedings, and countless doctor appointments. Unfortunately with that comes many financial struggles for my brother and his sweet family. With the care that baby Ryker is needing , they will not be able to return to work as soon as they had originally planned. They say it takes a villiage to bring up a child, and it truly does.

They are needing help to ease some of that financial struggle, and to help calm that extra worry in their minds. Anything that can be donated will help help ease that burden for them. The money would be used to assist them with their everyday expenses such as gas driving to and from downtown, doctor co pays, medical supplies, and so much more.

Justin and Jenna struggled for so long to become parents. They have fought for so hard to bring baby Ryker into this world. Now they need support and help from the people that love them the most.
