Living expences during cancer treatments

Hello, My name is Travis, and I'm creating this GoFundMe for my younger brother; Matthew

Last fall, he was diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma in his thigh and hip and had to stop working due to the prescribed intensive chemo schedule. While being in Canada and his medical expenses are covered, he lacks options for his living expenses. For the last twenty years, his sole means of income has been as a farmhand. While his employer is working with him and keeping a position open when treatment is complete, he has run out of the short government medical support while undergoing treatment. CPP, welfare, standard EI, and additional government assistance and any other government support options have been denied. His initial bout of chemo has been completed. Still, shortly he will either need major surgery that will put him out of commission for a year or continue with chemo and intense radiation therapy, which will prevent him from working while it is occurring.

He still needs to pay rent, buy food, and pay utilities during that time. He has slimmed these bills down as much as possible, but he currently has no income. His previous position did not have benefits, and he does not have disability access through insurance. So we are seeking assistance in covering those bills.

While the outlook for his treatment looks positive, he needs help getting to the point where he can return to work.
