Baby Nixon, 4 months old, was recently and suddenly diagnosed with severe heart failure and is currently in the ICU at Children's Hospital. His parents, Lacy and Matt Threadgill are terrified. Lacy works at Methodist Charlton in the ICU, along with her mother, Susan Watkins who works in IMC.
The doctors can't say what is going to happen at this point other than Nixon is going to be in the hospital for at least a month at best, or up to a few months at worst. There is a chance he could recover on his own, and there is a chance that he could require a heart transplant. All we know for sure right now is that he is very sick and his family is very scared. Prayers and support are coming from all over for this sweet family and this beautiful baby.
My name is Luritta Owens "Annie" and Lacy is the best friend I have made since I have moved here 3 years ago. I work at Methodist Charlton with her and have gotten to know her well Lacy recently returned back to work from maternity leave and has exhausted all of her paid time off when Nixon got sick. Now she is at his side at the hospital. Matt, Nixon's dad, has to return back to work this week to continue to provide for his family. They need our help!! The funds will be directly sent to them to help pay their bills while Lacy is out of work and to help assist with medical expenses which will be tremendous. The last thing they need to worry about right now is money. Letser for this child and support this family with everything we have!!
