As if a global pandemic wasn't quite enough, most of you know that Lisa Marie Kennedy was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. She learned the news on October 4th, 2021, just 8 months after she had been 'cancer free' from a 2020 breast cancer diagnosis.
After 2 hospitalizations with severe pancreatitis, the tumor was discovered. Lisa is DETERMINED to WIN THIS BATTLE and also inspire others that are facing the same seemingly insurmountable challenge. WITH YOUR HELP it will be DONE!
The pancreatic tumor is 2.9 cm and unfortunately is too close to a major artery so she is not a candidate for any type of surgery to remove the lesion. In addition, her first and second round of chemo proved unsuccessful because of an allergy to the medicines both times. The sickness that she experienced after her second round of chemotherapy was so unbearable that chemotherapy is no longer an option.
Given the severity of the situation, Lisa has found a hopeful alternative after countless hours of research and discussions with doctors, medical professionals, and friends and family. Obviously, the sooner she starts this alternative treatment the better. Although Lisa does have health insurance, Hope4Cancer is considered alternative medicine and therefore is not covered by insurance. Though this is the next right step for her, the cost in addition to the medical bills already accumulating is a BIG CHALLENGE for her family.

Unfortunately, Lisa was forced to considerably slow down her Real Estate business so with the drop in income and the added medical expenses, this has put a strain on her family finances.
