Hi. I’m Linus. I am a 16YO 14.2hh handsome hunk of love that was dumped at the kill pen in Shippensburg, Pa. Someone tried to castrate me themselves, but they failed. The only thing they succeeding in doing was mutilating me and leaving me with a bad infection.

After I was rescued from the pen, recovered from the wound, and infection I started feeling much better. My stud like tendencies caused some confusion since everyone thought I was a gelding. Turns out I am a cryptorchid, which means I have an  undescended testicle. I am rideable, but I can't focus for even the shortest ride and I like to jump 4 foot fences to visit the ladies, so still being a stud has left me unadoptable.

I need surgery to remove the remaining testicle, but it’s very expensive ($2400), and following surgery I need several months to recover and be rehabilitated. Thankfully, my people aren't giving up on me and are trying to raise $5100 to get the surgery I need, 6 months of recovery and rehabilitation, hauling to and from surgery and post-surgical bloodwork to confirm the surgery was successful.

I've come so far. I love people and attention, am rideable, and have good ground manners. I just can't control these hormones. Will you help me?
