Our beloved Mother, wife, sister,grandmother and friend has been called home.

Early Sunday morning,  Lilia Margarita Ortiz AKA Lili passed away peacefully due to complications from the cancer she so bravely battled for 15 months, at age 60. Lilia was married to Heleodoro AKA Lolo. They recently celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary. She Leaves behind three daughters; Sandra, Claudia, Araceli,  one son, Alejandro and five grandchildren. Lilia was a loving woman, selfless in every aspect of the word and genuine till her last day. Lili was a dedicated wife, loving sister, and a great friend to so many. 

With all of the emotional pain, anxiety and stress that a death brings to a family especially for one so painful to endure, it also brings financial burdens to take the bodily remains to her homeland and give an opportunity to her friends and extended family to see her and perform last rights. We are trying to raise money for the Ortiz-Aguilar family to help with any costs that will be incurred and to help wherever needed to lighten the burden. As a community, friends and colleagues, we want to ease any stress on the family caused by outstanding costs of taking bodily remains to Mexico as per one of her final wishes and to give to peace to  grieving family with whatever little things come afterwards as future expenses.

It is in these times of loss and sadness when you see people & community coming together to help one another make it through, to support the people we care for. We are thankful for any support you may be able to provide - all donations will go directly to her family
