Lil’ Angelo DeFilippis

Hi my name is Theresa Cavallo and I’m posting on behalf of my nephew Angelo DeFillipis or Lil Ang as I call him.

On February 12th, 2024 a horrific house fire caused Angelo and his mother, Stormie, to lose their home and all of their belongings. Angelo was lucky to get out as the thick smoke engulfed his home. He then got his elderly neighbor out of his house before further tragedy struck. Angelo was taken to the hospital and after receiving medical clearance, returned to his home only to witness the loss of everything he owned. In addition to all his clothing, shoes, and personal items, he lost his laptop and all of his baseball equipment. As you can imagine this is devastating.

Most of you know “Lil Ang”, his Dad, and family through the SI baseball community. Thank you to the many who have already reached out with calls, texts, messages and donations. For this, the DeFilippis family is eternally grateful.

Today, I am asking you to continue to help Lil Ang rebuild his life as he knew it so he can return to his college classes and college baseball team. Thank you in advance for any help you can give.
