Lifting up the Trotts...Literally!

It has come to the point that the Trott family could use our help in lifting up Tom. Literally. An elevator will allow them to stay in their family home of 20 years as Tom transitions to using a wheelchair. He has a rare type of ALS and they are investigating ways to adapt to the challenges that will bring.

This is an expensive disease so any funds raised above the cost of the elevator will be put towards those expenses. I know we are grateful for a chance to show love and support for Tom and Janice and wanted to give you the same opportunity.

Wanted to post an update. After meeting with 3 different elevator companies, it was decided that a better option would be for Tom and Janice to use the downstairs guest room and spend the donation on making the downstairs bathroom wheelchair accessible. We have met with 4 different people and are honing in on the best option. The decision should be made within the next couple of days.
