Liam's Brazil Exchange

Hi my name is Liam I am 16 and have the amazing opportunity of going on a year long exchange to Brazil through Rotary Youth exchange. The programs aim is to build bridges and relationships between countries, people and cultures. I am very excited to be going, however there is a large cost for airfare, travel insurance, living expenses and cost for excursions while in the country.  One of these trips will be to the Amazon. I have been actively looking for work since September but to no avail. As a result IIfind my self turning to family, friends and community members to support my adventure . No only will I be learning a new language but also broadening my community, developing new social skills and abilities as a leader and giving me a better understanding of other cultures . Ultimately giving me the tools to become a more active global citizen. I enjoy photography and creating videos and will be attempting to post these videos and photos regularly toupdat people around the world on what's happening and my experiences.
