LHS students experience of a 25-year-old tradition

The annual field trip to Ashland, Oregon has been a tradition of Lincoln High School for over 25 years. Honors and AP English/Drama students have traveled to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival to view and experience two plays with peers and educators. This experience has changed the trajectory of so many students' lives who were introduced to and have learned to appreciate Oregon, Shakespeare, theater, and education.

Our goal with this GoFundMe account is to fund scholarships for four more students to attend this field trip in October 2025. The cost to attend this overnight field trip to attend two plays (William Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar, Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest) is $250 per student. Students invited to attend are AP Seminar, AP English Language, AP English Literature, and Advanced Drama students. Many of our students do not have the financial resources to attend and we (Ms. Ward, Ms. Jeane, and Mr. Florence) would like to offer scholarships to invite students to join us. Sadly, as educators, we do not have the personal resources to fund these scholarships ourselves. Are you willing to help?

Even a small donation of $20 could be the difference between a student being able attend or not.
