Mike and Amanda feel led to grow their family through adoption. Will you support them on their journey? Read more of their story below:
"We would like to share a little bit of our journey. We have spent most of our 8+ years of marriage struggling with infertility. Our daughter Lena is a blessing from the Lord and is an absolute miracle. Early in our journey to become parents it was a very hard, difficult, and lonely journey, but through that time God grew us closer to Him and we have a much deeper and stronger marriage because of it. Instead of viewing our infertility as God withholding from us, we started to see it as an opportunity to serve Him through our circumstances. We try to continue to hold our hands open for how He would use us in this world.
Fostering and adoption has always been on our hearts and minds since before we were married. It was actually the last conversation we had right before we got engaged. We have loved opening our home and hearts to all who have entered our home. We have enjoyed fostering and will continue to do respite for other foster families. After our foster child, "Little Guy", moved to be with his biological sister we have decided to move more of our efforts to adoption and a forever sibling for Lena, which she very much desires.
As with all adoptions there is a financial burden. We have funded $10,000 of our adoption costs so far with our own savings account. Friends have encouraged us to share our story, and we hope your support of this go fund me page will contribute towards the rest of the cost of our adoption."
