Letty’s Brain Surgery & Treatment
Donation protected
I wasn’t too sure how to write this, but if you took the time to read this our family thanks you.
Our mother Leticia Estrada or mami is someone who I know as the person who has cared for me and my sisters my entire life and has dedicated her life and has sacrificed everything to make sure that we never felt like we did not have enough growing up. To me she is someone who has always put herself second to her family and anyone she cares for. My mom is the true definition of a selfless, loving, and the hardest working people I have ever met. To everyone else “Letty” is family. Letty has the ability to take co workers, customers, and even strangers and make them feel loved and cared for because that who she is.
Two months ago our world was drastically turned upside down with the sudden and abrupt discovery that my mom, Letty, had a tumor in her brain. Three weeks ago my mom underwent surgery to remove the tumor but unfortunately after the surgery my mom had severe complications that required an emergency operation due to swelling in the brain. Watching my mom fight for her life is the most agonizing heartbreak we have ever felt. We do not know what long term effects the damage to brain nerves will have long term but so far our mom has been fighting to recover but we are still left with an uncertain future. The physical and psychological journey is going to be very long, and difficult one but we all know my mother never backs down to a challenge. When you pair that with the financial obligation created you can not help but feel an immense stress.
This is where you-with our deepest appreciation - come in.
To ask for financial donations is a very hard thing for us to request but the road to recovery is the only thing we want my mother to focus on, unfortunately all the bills and the medical bills are costly and are going to pile up quickly. Please help if you can or share if a donation is not possible and continue to send prayers and positivity my moms way. Thank you so much.
