As many of you know, Annie’s health journey has continued to be on a bit of a rollercoaster, with one of her worst flare-ups in the last 6 weeks. There is no concrete diagnosis, but what we do know is it is a perfect storm of autoimmune, Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS), and preexisting co-infections/mold exposures.
While many of you know it’s happening, not many know the severity of it and all of the different ways it has affected their family.
Not only has she been unable to sustain a job through these flare-ups, but it has put significant emotional and financial stress on the family.
It would be so special if we could all rally around their family and provide practical love and support through finances—and always, prayers.
After exhausting many medical options and unsuccessfully finding treatment options that would be covered by insurance, we feel that the Lord has led her to a treatment called EBOO. EBOO, or Extracorporeal Blood Oxygenation and Ozonation, is described as a “therapy that involves removing blood, mixing it with oxygen and ozone, and then filtering it before reintroducing it into the body. It is considered an advanced form of ozone therapy, with practitioners claiming it can increase oxygenation and reduce inflammation.”
Fortunately, this treatment provides a lot of hope for the future and many testimonials of success.
Unfortunately, this process is very costly and is paid completely out of pocket. Annie has been recommended one treatment a week at $1,200 for at least 7 weeks (roughly $8,500). Alongside that, they have already expended so many of their resources towards remediating the mold out of their current house—as mold is a major factor in her condition.
Would you prayerfully consider giving financially to their family at this time? And as I said before, prayer is one of the greatest gifts.
Thank you so much!
