Lets help out a great guy during his fight!

Our dear friend Brian was born and raised in Milton Massachusetts. He attended Milton High, where he was a standout football player. Brian attended Bryant College, continued to play football there and graduated with the Class of ‘03. After college, he moved back to Milton, and currently resides there with his wife Kim, daughter Kelli and beloved German Shepherd, Kaiser.

If you know Brian, you know he is an avid gym goer and prides himself on being in great shape. He was a picture of perfect health! Around November 2021 he started not feeling well, went to the doctors and unfortunately received a Stage 4 Colorectal cancer diagnosis after a scheduled colonoscopy.

In January 2021, after this diagnosis, Brian went through multiple surgeries at Beth Israel, and underwent chemotherapy for 10 months along with radiation. He is now receiving weekly ongoing treatments at Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Brian has been responding well to treatments and is eligible for a trial next year hopefully that will be able to kill cancer.

Brian has a long battle ahead. To add additional stress to the family’s current situation, his job was recently eliminated due to his company's downsizing. Actively looking for a new position while undergoing treatment has been difficult. Finding an employer that can accommodate his treatment needs has been challenging- but Brian is eager to get back to work!

Throughout all these challenges he is facing, Brian has never complained. The love and support of his family and friends keep him going. He has shown his true strength and courage in how he is battling this disease.
