Let's Help Our Friend Jane Geisick

 

Hey all!

 

We received devastating news a few weeks ago that our dear friend, Jane Geisick was diagnosed with terminal, stage four cancer. She had been having back pain and went in for an MRI and a mass was found. The pathology report determined the cancer is Melanoma which is not curable but it is treatable with immunotherapy and radiation which she will start next week. She had surgery to remove the mass but she is now paralyzed from the waisted down. But you know Jane, that won't keep her down! She is doing physical therapy multiple times a week and is looking at getting physically therapy equipment for home so she can work at getting her legs back. She wants to live the time she has left to the fullest with her husband and two boys, traveling the world, enjoying the outdoors and making incredible family memories!

 

Tons of people have been asking how they can help so we created this GoFundMe to help her family make their home wheelchair accessible, help the family get a car that Jane can get in and out of (their big truck is too tall) and help her get the equipment she needs at home to get her legs working again.

 

Thank you for all of the happy thoughts, prayers, and strength you have been sending Jane and her family! She was hesitant to let me put this together (because who likes asking for help?) but I kept telling her.....We all love her so much and want to help! Jane has made such an impact on all of us and I know you all would be honored to give back to her.
