My name is Enrique Anaya, and I am Elena's husband.
Elena Carvajal is a beautiful Colombian woman born in Duitama, Boyaca, Colombia. She is 42 years old and moved to Chicago sixteen years ago. She and I have a beautiful girl called Michelle, who is going to turn 12 on December 18th.
Elena is an artist by nature, and she has created beautiful murals for different places in Chicago such as restaurants, houses, etc. A year ago, Elena was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, and she went through different chemotherapies and radiotherapies, however, the lymphoma expands to her brain. The doctors tried to control it with chemo but it hasn't worked.
I have been looking for other options to keep helping my wife to fight this battle. And, I connected with an alternative doctor, who has given us hope with a special treatment that can help her to win the battle. Elena is very positive and she has the strength to win the battle but we need to do it quickly since we don't have a lot of time. So, we urgently need to collect the funds to pay for her treatment, and that is the main reason why we are creating this "go fund me".
Please help my wife to fight this battle because we need her. She is the joy and light of our family.

Elena es una artista de nacimiento, nacida en Duitama, Boyaca, Colombia. Elena tiene 42 años y se mudo a Chicago hace 16 años, donde se ha destadaco por pintar lindos murales en restaurantes y casas en Chicago. Aqui en Chicago, formamos nuestra linda familia donde nacio nuestra hija Michelle, quien va a cumplir 12 años el 18 de Diciembre.
Elena siempre ha sido una mujer muy saludable, alegre y fuerte. Pero hace un año, le diagnosticaron un linfoma de non-hodgkins. Ella como siempre, muy fuerte y con la mejor actitud se sometio a varios tratamientos de radio y quimioterapia que no han sido totalmente exitosos. Sin embargo, con la fe puesta en que Elenita va a recuperarse buscamos alternativas en un tratamiento diferente.
Por esta razon, busque opciones en la medicina alternativa. Y encontre un medico que nos ha dado todas las esperanzas y fe para seguir luchando contra esta batalla. Sin embargo, el tratamiento y los medicamentos son costosos y necesitamos recolectar los fondos urgentemente para que mi esposa pueda seguir luchando y tenga una pronta recuperacion ya que ella es el motor de nuestra familia.
Por favor cualquier ayuda es muy valiosa para nosotros y estamos seguros que ella ganara la batalla.
