Let’s get Ehren back up on his feet!
Don protégé
This is not something I’ve ever wanted to do, but I’m left with no choice. On Saturday night my son Ehren had an accident. All who know him, know that he went through school competing in trampolining competitions, was picked for the youth games, and would back flip off anything. Unfortunately this time it went wrong and one bad angle has resulted in serious injury to both his heels and ankles. This has resulted in serious life changing injury. He has shattered both of his heels and has serious damage to ankle joints. This may seem like a case of broken bones that can be fixed, unfortunately it’s not as simple as that. This type of injury is extremely complex to attempt to fix and recover from, and for the best outcome requires specialist treatment and rehabilitation. Ehren faces a very long, painful road ahead and unfortunately whilst we are grateful to the NHS, the care he has received so far and their plan going forward, may not result in the best outcome for Ehren. As some of you may know he was caring for my parents, which he is now unable to do. At some point he will be being discharged from hospital and as my home is not accessible we don’t know what the future holds if honest. I’m his mum and as you can imagine I’m in bits, I want to fix this, I need to fix this for him. I don’t have or come from money, if there was any way I could possibly fund his treatment myself believe me I would be doing it. So I’m left with no choice but to ask for any donation no matter how small. Every penny will help us give Ehren the best possible chance of walking and living a normal life again. He is a 23 year old young man with his whole life ahead of him. We appreciate all the kind words of love, encouragement and support.
