Lets come together & help save Richie's leg from amputation!

Hi,

My name is Melissa and Richie is my brother-in-law. Unfortunately, he has been in the hospital for months. He has had many complications and surgeries, as we all know, and has been waiting quite some time to get admitted into a medical rehab that will help him. Sadly, our medical system in the US is atrocious, and it's getting more and more difficult to get even basic care. The waiting list is long, and there are many hoops you need to jump through just to get a reply—let alone get lifesaving care. On top of that, Richie's insurance won't cover what he truly needs. We need to come together and step up to help take care of him. He is unable to live his life how he truly deserves and will lose his leg if he doesn't come up with the additional funds needed. Richie is a good person. He is there for you in any way that he can and hardly ever asks for help. Seeing him miss his mom to the point that he is torn between wanting to be at peace with his mom and staying here and showing her how resilient he truly is, is heartbreaking.
