My name is Jomonica Phoenix. I've known Robert Taylor for decades......he's one of the good guys. He's been around for along time - often in the background helping out at many benefits for many years -for other musicians, events and benefits. He is a harmonica player and has been in at least two bands: Mojofromopolis (played many benefits - opened for Johnny Winter at the Meridian) and Bluestown Shakedown.

He recently had a mild stroke with evidence of a prior stroke at an unknown time....he was lucky in that respect and is working on recovering.....

He went to Ben Taub a total of four (4) times and the medical bills are adding up (over $7,000). Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar were not stable......

He has not been able to work and the other bills are beginning to add up: rent, utilities, truck payments & insurance for the truck.

He needs just a little help to get back on his feet.

He is working diligently on his health: he stopped smoking, got insurance that went into effect 1/1/26, is monitoring his blood pressure & blood sugar.

He loves animals & is a "Foster First" advocate.....
