Our friend, Jackie Gibbs, has a long road ahead...but she's a fighter and we all know she is going to come out the other side of this journey strong and healthy!  Jackie was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer.  She is getting the BEST possible care at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, NY.  Her family is by her side so they can be with her when she needs them most! The cost for their stay in the area is exorbitant (NY standard I guess!) and they have already made multiple journeys up and back consulting with and receiving care from some of the best doctors in the world.  The next part of this journey will be the hardest...Jackie and her family will be in NY for at least three weeks. We want to help with that cost and hopefully keep some of the stress off of their shoulders.  So many people have asked how they can help. Well this is something we can do!   Jackie told me to please make sure everyone knows their prayers and well-wishes are SO appreciated and worth more than anything.  This is something we, her friends and military family, are doing for her because we love her. :)   Please keep our Jackie in your prayers -- we look so forward to the day she is back at the 480 ISRW where she belongs!
