Lennie's Battle Fund

For those of you who are reading this, my name is Courtney Boulet Elkins, and I am the daughter of Lennie Boulet. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed in 2019 with Melanomia and began countless surgeries and treatments. Those closest to us flooded the gates of heaven with prayers for healing, provided meals, and endless support. Though things were very stressful, my parents, siblings, and I kept our faith and knew we would come out on the other side of this stronger. Anyone who knows my dad knows he is the most giving, thoughtful, inspiring man of God. So, to see him go through this was truly difficult for everyone.

At the beginning of this year, we FINALLY heard the news that we had all been praying for the last three years..."He's in remission!" Although he would have to continue his infusions, we were in the clear. However, the celebration was short-lived when we were recently told that they found another lump to be removed, and he underwent another surgery. After the procedure, the results came back like a huge punch in the gut. The Cancer is Back!

The fight begins again. My dad will now have to attend numerous doctor visits, travel back and forth to Oshners in New Orleans, continue labs and PET Scans, and the list goes on. During this time, it will require Lennie & Amanda to miss several days and weeks of work. So, I have set up this GoFund Me to do my part in helping take the financial stress off of their shoulders.
