Legal Help for Asbestos Spill Victims

Donation protected
Hello everyone, we are Rocky and Caleb and have two beautiful cats named Snitch and Hagrid. We are in desperate need of a lawyer for litigation but lack the funds. We recently were able to fulfill our dreams of becoming home owners this past June and have made a humble abode our sanctuary. During the winter freeze, the temperature inside the house ranged from 20-38 degrees Fahrenheit because the ducts were so dirty we did not feel comfortable turning on the heater and we were desperate for some heat.
Two months ago we hired a licensed and insured HVAC company to clean the ducts but since it was an old home built in 1900 they identified asbestos wrapping on the ducts and recommended a full furnace and ductwork replacement. They removed the asbestos ductwork but little did we know no abatement protocols would be followed. When we expressed our concern of contamination through the house, they sent an environmental company that confirmed the whole house and outside property is contaminated through air samples and wipe tests.
The HVAC company representatives assured us that they would be taking care of the abatement costs, replacement of our personal items, and covering our motel expenses during this process. It has been a month and a half since we have not been living in our home, during which they only paid for 11 days of motel stay, but we paid out of pocket for 20 days approximately $1,800. We could no longer afford the motel and are now staying with friends.
They have ceased communication with us and have not started any payment for abatement with full knowledge that their company insurance and our home insurance will not cover asbestos incidents since it is a specific air pollutant. The abatement estimate is $47,000 to dispose of our belongings and decontaminate our property, replacement of all our belongings will be thousands of dollars and we need reimbursement of our motel expenses. We have found a promising lawyer to take our case but requires a $3,500 retainer and regular replenishments of their $350 and $200 paralegal hourly rate. Our funds have been drained during this time out of our home and we need your help to get the ball rolling to win our solid case and get back in our home. We have put so much time, energy and money into making our house a home like: installing new carpet ourselves, putting up new curtains, new kitchen faucets, and new gutters etc. and it is a shame that we are unable to enjoy it.
