Lee, a Veteran, Needs a Car

Yesterday I became aware of a US veteran friend who is struggling with some difficult circumstances in life. While not all of them are financial, one is. Lee was recently in a car wreck (not his fault). However, given his car was so old (1997) it was totaled. Because of this, he is in a desperate need to replace the car. But he is self-employed and his funds are limited to find a reliable replacement car.

The compounding situation is that Lee is a veteran fighting severe PTSD which results in his spending many days and hours in doctors offices, groups, treatments, drugs, etc. He is committed to winning his own personal battle and the subsequent issues that go along with his battle, but he has acknowledged he needs the help of his friends.

So, if you are able and willing, would you consider contributing to this effort to raise $12,000 to help Lee purchase a replacement vehicle? While you and I may not be able to directly impact the battle Lee still wages to recover from his struggles with PTSD, we can remove one major roadblock that was thrown in his path, through no fault of his own.

So with Christmas just around the corner, what better way to express the spirit of giving, than to help Lee with this pressing need.
