Direct Financial Aid to Families in Beirut

On Tuesday August 4th, a massive explosion at the port of Beirut Lebanon killed at least 135 people and wounded around 5,000. With hundreds of people still missing, these numbers are expected to go up. Upwards of 300,000 people have become homeless. Thousands of homes and businesses have been lost or severely damaged.
Families were already struggling due to the economic crisis in Lebanon. These families need our help to buy food, get medical help and begin repairs on their homes to make them livable again.
Our goal is to get this aid directly into the hands of victims through family and friends who have volunteered to help.
