Leaha Dowie

Hello, some baseball friends and families would like to set up this gofund me in honour of Leaha Dowie a long time member of our baseball community.

On December 3rd, our dear friends, and community members the Dowie Family tragically lost their wife, mother, friend, daughter, the family’s biggest cheerleader and supporter Leaha, unexpectedly. This sudden loss has left the family devastated, and they are now facing not only overwhelming grief but also the financial challenges that come with funeral expenses, and the difficulties of navigating life without Leaha during the holiday season.

Leaha was an incredible woman who touched the lives of everyone who knew her. As a loving wife, devoted mother, and cherished friend, her warmth, kindness, and selflessness made her the heart of her family and community. Her absence leaves a profound void, and as the family struggles to cope, they are faced with the heavy burden of financial stress during an already difficult time.

This GoFundMe campaign is aimed at easing some of that burden by helping with:

-funeral expenses

-daily living expenses as the family adjusts to life without Leaha

-providing support during the holiday season when emotions are especially raw

-make sure the boys can continue to be involved in the sports they love
