Layonie & family

Donation protected
As featured on calendar and look north the blue Mini Cooper has gone viral because of the horrific floods, to make matters worse a Travis Perkins lorry decided to plough through the flooded road causing the mini to smash into the pub causing more damage. During Fridays flood Layonie’s life changed drastically within a matter of hours. The car she uses to go to and from work as well as taking her daughter to school is now ruined. Layonie is also a main carer for her dad who is brain tumour survivor and relies heavily on her for transport to specialist appointments for his rehabilitation, as well as shopping and pharmacy collections. Layonie and her family also own the business her car was situated outside throughout. The Anchor pub may also never recover from this. As a community I think we need to look after our own and help layonie and her family as much as we can.
