Lay Trisha and Michelle to Rest with Love
Donation protected
Hello,
My name is Savana and I’m the older sister of Trisha, one of the victims of the fallen banyan tree in Hilo. Im organizing this to help with Trisha and her girlfriend Michelle’s expenses to be put to rest. On Saturday July 12 a very large old banyan tree fell and unfortunately this was a spot the two of them regularly hung out at. Not long after the falling of the tree My other sister Jessica reached out saying that the two had not been located and a missing person report was made. She was insistent that they check the tree but unfortunately at the time police said there was nothing they could do because it was private property and would not conduct a search at the tree even though a foul smell came from it. Days went on and still no help from local authorities. My sister and family decided take matters into their own hands feeling in their hearts that Trisha and Michelle were under this tree and on Sunday July 20 my sister found a body and called authorities. Finally they got the police to investigate and discovered the remains of both Michelle and Trisha. We are very hurt that it took so long to get the help we needed to find them. We ask kindly for the help of the community to lay these two to rest. If you knew Trisha then you knew how special she was. Her smile contagious, always there to help someone in need even if she was struggling herself. She loved all of her nieces and nephews and all her family and friends with everything she had. Now we want to show her how much she was loved. How much the both of them were loved. Thank you!
