Lawsuit to End Covid Restrictions in Mississippi

I am raising money to defray the costs of litigation against the State of Mississippi. I filed a Federal Lawsuit against the Governor to have the Covid-19 restrictions declared unconstitutional. With the repeal of all 59 prior Executive Orders and the implementation of a new Executive Order (without a state wide mask mandate), we are preparing to refile seeking to have the new Executive Order declared unconstitutional under both the US Constitution and the Mississippi State Constitution.

A Federal Judge in Pennsylvania ruled that all of that State's restrictions were unconstitutional on Sept. 14, 2020. So it can be done!
Our Constitutional Rights are vitally important and we cannot simply set back and allow them to be taken from us; real emergency or fake. The Attorney General of the US has said this is "the greatest intrusion on civil liberties in American history" and he is right.
Mississippians and all Americans have been asked to surrender virtually all of their God given Constitution guaranteed rights to "FLATTEN THE CURVE". There is NEVER a time or situation that warrants the surrender of our rights to the government. Nor should citizens have to hope that the government will see fit to return those same rights to us in the future. But in this case, the government's own numbers don't justify the story they are telling:
· 87.3% of all Mississippi Covid cases did NOT require hospitalization.
· Covid patients occupy only 8% of Mississippi’s hospital beds.
· Mississippi has 1,925 vacant hospital beds, 4 times the number of Covid patients.
· Covid patients occupy only 16% of Mississippi’s ICU hospital beds.
· Mississippi has 147 ICU Covid patients and 904 staffed ICU beds.
· Mississippi has 74 patients on ventilators.
· Mississippi refuses to publish the number of ventilators available in the State.
· According to their own press conference, UMMC has over 300 ventilators alone (1 hospital has over 4.5 times the number of ventilators as are in use).
· The Mississippi Covid death rate is 3% of active infections (half the national rate) and .0009 of the total population.
· 84% of all Mississippi Covid deaths were age 60 or older.
· Mississippi has had 1 Covid death age 18 or younger.
· 41% of all Mississippi Covid deaths were Long Term Care facility residents.
· Mississippi refuses to publish co-morbidity death figures.
· The “non-noted” co-morbidity death chart column indicates there have been virtually no Covid only deaths in Mississippi.
My fervent hope is that this suit will become an inspiration to attorneys in every state and I have made it publicly available so they can use it as a form to file similar suits in their own states. We all swore an OATH to uphold the Constitution and now is the time to honor that oath.
I am not seeking to profit from this suit. I am seeking to protect the rights of all Mississippians and all Americans. I am paying for the suit expenses out of my own pocket and taking time away from my solo law practice to prosecute it. I am facing a foe with unlimited pockets and an army of lawyers. I am literally a Constitution David fighting a governmental Goliath. I and the attorneys I consulted conservatively estimate it will cost in excess of $10,000 to fund just out of pocket expenses of the suit. That doesn't even begin to count the fact that this suit will dominate all of my time for six months to a year. The total costs to my family will be in excess of $100,000. That is a cost we are willing to bear. I would gratefully appreciate any help you could give me, whether it is $1, $10, $100, $1,000, a kind word of support or most importantly, your prayers. If you believe in our Constitution, I ask you stand with me and let's fight together to preserve our rights and freedoms.
