Laurel Grady's Expense Fund

From Dave Grady, Laurel’s brother:  Thank you for visiting Laurel’s site.  Your support, kind words and donations have been greatly appreciated by Laurel.  She was loved by many and it is with profound sadness that we announce her passing. 

 Laurel Diane Grady, 59, of Whitefish, passed away at Logan Health on October 31, 2023, Halloween evening, a holiday that she loved.  With her brother and a beloved friend by her side and her house open for treats and fun, she took her last breath and joined the fun, finally released from the insidious cancer that invaded her body over the past few years.   It is difficult to believe she has left us, so young and so unfairly.  We all must grieve as that is natural, but also remember her as a vibrant, sassy, active, intelligent, dog-loving person who was in turn loved by many.   

 The family and her friends would like to thank the palliative care physicians and the amazing staff nurses at Logan health who took such great care of her and made her as comfortable as possible during her final days.  Laurel’s friends, and there are so many of you, were so engaged and supportive and we know it made a big difference with her comfort and care.  

We will keep her Go Fund Me account open and apply any contributions to a memorial bench along a local trail supported by Whitefish Legacy Partners.  This will be the friends’ and family’s legacy to her, a place to visit, remember and reflect.   A celebration of life will take place at the Bierstube on Big Mountain on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 2 pm to 5 pm.
