Laura Ray!

Hi, my is Crystal Seagle and I am trying to fundraise for Laura Ray as she is seeking TBI treatment to help alleviate extreme symptoms and discomfort due to a car accident and repeated sports trauma.

I am writing this in support of a friend and mentor to many in the Nashua community. A warrior woman who would never ask for help because she is too busy helping and supporting others. Some of you may know that Laura Ray has been dealing with a traumatic brain injury/post-concussion syndrome for the last four years. This past year has been a very difficult year for her as the severity of her symptoms have created a struggle with not only her physical health, but her mental health as well. She has seen many specialists and doctors over the past four years, most of them this year alone. Most of the treatments she has tried thus far were out of pocket expenses and those treatments are very expensive. Laura recently came across a place out in Utah called Cognitive FX. The research that she has done on them, and through a consultation with them, has led Laura to believe they may be able to help her get to a point where her symptoms become more manageable, and the day-to-day could potentially become quite a bit easier for her.

This treatment is not a guarantee and even with that small chance that it does not work; Laura is ready to do whatever it takes to alleviate these symptoms; both physically and mentally. She is scheduled to participate in this treatment from March 30-April 13, 2024, and as with most treatments for TBI’s/PCS, it is out of pocket and costs $24,700 for the treatment, plus flight and hotel stay for two weeks.

They plan to take on as much of the cost as possible but could use some help. I am asking her amazing community for support and to help however you can. Let’s help our friend and mentor Laura Ray feel healthy in both mind and body so she can continue to help her community the way she always has!
