Support Unaccompanied Minors
Donation protected
The Latino Postbacc. Collective (LPC) would like to invite you all in helping us support humanitarian efforts in providing resources to the unaccompanied minors currently in detention centers.
LPC Members: Angel Martinez, Bryan Gonzalez, Derrick Delgado, Linda Wright, Miguel Ruiz, Maurico Franco, Mario Loera, Paloma Reyes.
—————————————————————————————————————
As you may know, the US has seen a recent surge of unaccompanied minors from Central America. These children are being processed in detention centers throughout the southwest, and Border Angels/Angeles de la Frontera, an organization dedicated to ensuring the humanitarian treatment of all migrants, is responding to an immediate need for donations for those currently in detention centers.
In order to raise awareness for this cause, we are asking that you show your support by sharing this information and taking action!
Because Border Angels’ headquarters are in San Diego, we will raise funds over the next two weeks and purchase items that will be delivered to the headquarters. The items we will buy with your donations include:
-Diapers
-Water
-Gatorade
-Pedialyte
-Blankets
-Sanitary supplies
We have included the link to the Border Angels website for additional information on the organization and their donation drive. www.borderangels.org

The Latino Post-Baccalaureate Collective (LPC) is committed to empowering and advocating for under-represented post-baccalaureate students while supporting them on the path to attaining admission into medical school.
As we continue on our path into Medical School we are committed to supporting humanitarian efforts.
