Lauren, Alfie's mum has this to say As we come into another Christmas, we’re once again incredibly grateful that Mark and the team are continuing the Santa Run in support of Latch.

Latch was — and continues to be — a beacon of light during the darkest moments. They supported our family in ways we will never forget. During our nine-month inpatient stay, when we couldn’t work and the hospital food trolley didn’t provide meals for parents because we weren’t the patients, Latch stepped in. They helped with food, accommodation, holidays, sibling activities, and so much more. They even purchased an apheresis machine to make stem cell harvesting easier for siblings, and funded the renovation of Rainbow Ward. Their impact is endless. We genuinely don’t know what we would have done without them.

Latch receives no government funding. There’s no “fat cat” at the top taking an extravagant salary. Every penny raised goes directly to supporting families like ours through the most unimaginable times.
