Last Chance Ranch Needs a Van

Hi, my name is Becca and I am raising money for Yvonne Reese of Last Chance Ranch in San Diego County, CA to buy a "new" aka used van to transport herself and her dogs safely. Yvonne had a Ford Econo van donated from another rescue and after hundreds of thousands of miles it is no longer repairable. Yvonne's newest and only working vehicle is a 1973 pick up truck. Yvonne really needs another van to safely travel with her dogs. 

 

Yvonne is the hardest worker and kindest person I know. She not only has devoted her life to the animals but also goes out of her way to help those who struggle to help themselves in her community.

 

Yvonne has pigs, horses, chickens, and many dogs. Most of Yvonne's dogs are hounds that were at risk of euthanasia due to their built in desire to hunt. Yvonne runs the dogs on land she caretakers for others. This keeps them mentally and physically healthy and as a result they are a happy bunch. Yvonne has taken a number of abandoned dogs from her area as well that range from chihuahuas to a cattle dog. All of the animals will live out their lives with Yvonne.

 

The $10,000 goal is to purchase a used work or passenger style van with working AC (it's hot for all the dogs in the back of a van in the summer) that won't break down and will be safe for Yvonne and the dogs.
