Larry Pisapio's Brain Surgery Fund
Donation protected
On January 6th Larry woke up and had little to no motor control in his lower left leg. Through the course of testing at Mount Auburn Hospital, a cavernoma was discovered in his brain. A couple days later Larry had brain surgery performed in order to remove the cavernoma.
The surgery was successful and Larry has a very positive prognosis, but he has a long road to recovery ahead of him. He will be spending several weeks receiving acute inpatient rehab at Spaulding Rehab Hospital in Charlestown and will continue to receive physical therapy afterwards.
The outpouring of support from Larry’s friends and family has been tremendous. Larry does have insurance and his employer, Collins Engineers, has been generous and extremely supportive during this difficult time. Larry is expected to face significant out-of-pocket expenses though, and your help is greatly needed. Monetary donations of any amount are welcome.
Anyone that would like to send Larry a Get Well card can send it to him at:
254 North Street, Apt. 7
Boston, MA 02113
Thank you in advance for your thoughtfulness and continued support!
