Lacy Martin's Shark Attack Fund

Hello everyone! This is Tessa Vannatta, and I am Britt Martin's cousin. Britt and his wife Lacy, were vacationing in the Bahamas and visiting Lacy's parents on their annual New Years trip.  On the second day of their trip, Britt and Lacy were swimming and snorkeling around the boat, when Lacy was bit by what is suspected to be an 8 ft. tiger shark.  The bite took out half of her back down to her thigh. She was immediately flown to Ft. Lauderdale, FL to a trauma center. Lacy's shark bite was rated as a Class 5, which no one on record has ever survived, or even made it to the hospital with their injuries. Lacy has already undergone two surgeries, is doing very well, but has a very long road of recovery ahead of her. She will remain at the hospital in FL for at least 4 weeks, then she will start undergoing the process of reconstructive surgery.


Britt had to pay out of pocket for Lacy to be flown in a medical jet to FL, and currently is having to unexpectedly pay for a hotel room, rent car, gas, and food. We have no idea the extent of what Lacy's medical bills will cost, but I have set up this fund to help offset these costs. Britt and Lacy are both caring, genuine people, who consistently live their lives helping others. 


Any amount of money you can donate is greatly appreciated. God has already performed a miracle keeping Lacy alive and there is no telling the blessings that will come of this tragic accident. Thank you for your donation and for your prayers.
