About the Melissa Benoist Birthday Fundraiser:
Melissa Benoist is an actress, producer, author, activist and a huge inspiration to many people -myself included. And inspired by her constant activist, last year we’ve made a fundraiser on behalf of The Phoenix Act that’s raised more than $1,400. We, her fans, are coming together once again for the cause in honor of Melissa’s birthday because she taught us we’re stronger together.

Back in n November 2019 Melissa bravely opened up about her experience with domestic violence with the world as a way to support other victims. If you’re comfortable with, you can watch Melissa sharing her story here  & here.
