This is for my daughter who Ashley is now 22 years old and married with a 2 year old son. She has been recently diagnosed[10/15/2015] with thyroid cancer and has had one surgery [10/31/2015] that was not successful. Unfortunately the news she recieved was another surgery was needed because the first was unsucessful and did not get all of the cancerous lymphnodes out. While doing scans it was also diagnosed that Ashley's left vocal cords were paralyzed and she would have to go to speech thearpy in hopes to regain her natural voice. She will undergo another surgery In January 2016 to take out all of the remaining disease and be recouperating in the hospital a week after with radioactive iodine radiation following. She will incur a lot of expense both traveling back and forth to Charlotte, Household having a reduced income while in surgery and recovery, as well as medical not covered by insurance.
