Kristi's GBS Fight For Life

Hi my name is Kristi.

Two years ago I was diagnosed with GBS Ansam along with a spinal infection in the back of my neck, affecting the brain steam. As well as extensive neuropathy on the peripheral and central nervous system. A rare autoimmune disease where my immune system attacks my nervous system. I was diagnosed several months too late which resulted in many dehabilitating conditions and prolonged and uncertain recovery. three years ago I moved from America to Sweden to be with the love of my life. To say it has been an uphill battle is an understatement.I have been wheelchair bound for two years. Countless MRIs, endless surgeries, and life threatening complications are only a drop in the ocean of what I have been through.

The money raised will be used primarily for my medical needs but also for my day to day. I live in an assisted living facility. I need a neurologist, physical therapist, occupational therapist, throat specialist, foot specialist, ear and eye doctor to improve my quality of life. I appreciate anything that is raised. It would truly be a blessing.
