KP WonderWoman Fight Against Cancer

Karin is the real Wonder Woman.

On August 12th Karin announced:

“Dear friends and family—it is with a heavy heart that I reach out to you for prayers for our family. I have been diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma cancer that has spread to many areas of my body. While I'm trying to stay upbeat and positive, the road ahead is full of uncertainty. Please pray for Chris as he has been my rock during these past 2 roller-coaster weeks of testing and results. I truly hope God isn't ready for me yet as I don't feel I'm ready to go. Keep sweet Sammie in your thoughts as well; she doesn't know the magnitude, just that mommy is sick and will start treatment soon.”

Karin has undergone two weeks of radiation treatment and has started chemotherapy. She has a daily caregiver while Chris is at work. Her daily routine consists of RN visits, and physical therapy.

We have started this GoFundMe campaign because so many of you reached out, offering to help.  The funds raised will be used for things that make managing the day-to-day tasks of life easier.  As Karin focuses on fighting and healing with Chris and Sammie by her side, everything that could be done by someone else should be done by someone else.  Housecleaning, meal prep, dog walking, yard maintenance … the list goes on and on.  Additionally, the funds may be used to help with anything Karin needs, from medical costs to therapeutic massage or some much-deserved pampering.
