Good morning, good afternoon, and good evening,
On August 13th, I received a phone call from my father stating my older brother, Peter, had taken his own life. With countless responsibilities and financial stress stacked upon him, he still managed to assist our family in every aspect imaginable. Behind Peter’s blank facial expression was an extremely loving and caring individual who put the needs of our family before himself. Anywhere from being the primary caretaker of our 99 year old grandmother to helping keep track of all our family’s finances, Peter made sure it was all taken care of and that we were happy. As the annoying younger brother of Peter, it is hard to imagine life without him. He has helped shape me to become the individual I am today and I cannot thank him enough. Although these past few days have been extremely hard on our family, I know he would have wanted the best for all of us. With that being said, if there is one thing I know for certain, it is that Peter would not have wanted to leave any type of financial burden on our shoulders. Therefore, on behalf of The Kong Family, I am reaching out for your support during these difficult times. Please help us celebrate the life of our beloved Peter.
