Medical Expenses

In February 2022 Mary woke with severe pain and swelling in her right eye. Doctors diagnosed her with Uveitus which is swelling,pain,and inflammation of the eye with light sensitivity. This after a short time on medication went to both eyes. Then in Sept she lost complete vision in her right eye with Non Arteritic Anterior Ischemic Optic Neuopathy with no cure and vision of 20/200 left in the left eye has left her legally blind with Photophobia(sensitivity to light).

Mary is unable to work or drive and now is faced with learning how to do Everything with low vision. Though she has medical insurance the bills and expenses of traveling to specialist are piling up. The expenses of much needed devices that will allow her to function daily for seeing are very expensive and not covered by insurance. These devices include specific glasses for her that would help her with seeing and doing daily activities we take for granted .

Mary is not one to ask for help or assistance she is the opposite she drops everything to be there for others going above and beyond. Some have asked what can I do? How can I help?
