Kit's Woman-Built Sanctuary

Did Kit Gruelle help you or someone you love over the past 35 years? Like most abuse advocates, Kit rarely charges for her time, knowledge and coaching -- the cause is too great to worry about compensation. Most of us victims have few financial resources at the time we need guidance. We are usually too shocked, desperate, terrified, and fragile to worry about anything but survival. Now it’s time for us to give back to Kit. Kit is nearing 70 and wants/needs to build a small (960 sq. ft) cabin on this little piece of land in the North Carolina mountains to serve as a place of solace, peace, quiet, safety, and spiritual restoration, so that she can continue helping women in need. She wants this to be a woman-built cabin, reflecting the strength and beauty of survivors and of Mother Nature.
